Effective treatment

Many of the patients who attend are either through word of mouth or referral. Each patient's care is tailored to them and not just to a generic formula. Common modalities include soft tissue work, mobilisation, manipulation, dry needling, Kinesio taping, ergonomic advice and remedial exercises.

Team work with patient

The aim of treatment is to work in partnership with you, which includes identifying triggers and any maintaining factors. Cross referrals can be made where indicated, to other health professionals to give a well rounded care package.

Over the last year I have focused on Scar Tissue Therapy and low level light therapy. Scar tissue can lead to adhesions, cording, inflammation and loss of normal function and movement. I have also trialled a low level light laser and in the autumn of 2022 and decided on a class 3B laser from Thor to add to my practice. This is used to accelerate healing, to reduce inflammation and pain.
